Corsetry for MenDesign requirements |
Although a number of firms make garments designed specifically for men, the majority of men who are interested in girdles make do with, or adapt, women's girdles. However the shapes of men's and women's bodies differ substantially, and most men find that most women's girdles are far from satisfactory. In this section will consider the differences in the shape of men's and women's bodies, and how women's girdles can be adapted to fit men's bodies. Of necessity, most of this section is based on my own experiences. As far as possible I will develop rules which are generally applicable, but if you are interested in this subject you will have to adapt my findings to take into account the shape of your body and your own special requirements. To assist in my researches I have devised a photographic setup which enables me to photograph the subject from three directions simultaneously, and get reproducible photos from which reasonably accurate measurements can be taken. This setup is described under Diagnostic photography. |
